Greetings from the Fall 2014 Officer Board!Advancement: (noun) The act of moving forward.
This upcoming fall semester is filled with advancement - new meeting times, a new officer position, a new website, and the newsletter. In previous semesters the newsletter was only sent to alumni; this has been changed to meet the popularity and demand for the publication. This semester we are proud to present The Ledger, Beta Alpha Psi & Accounting Society's newsletter, now accessible to both alumni and members. After a summer filled with internships, workshops, and vacation, the fall semester has begun. This upcoming semester will be an exciting one; after all, it is recruiting season! With the approach of recruiting season comes the editing and revision of resumes and cover letters, and the ironing of suits. Through our workshops and speaking engagements, we are positive that our members will be well prepared for the recruiting season. The work load before us is great, but under the leadership of our president, Jennifer Mae Formeloza, we are fully prepared. Along with recruiting season comes the chance to bond and connect with members, both old and new. Every semester always brings new faces to the organization, and the Fall 2014 Officer Board cannot wait to get to know each and every one of them. We strive to make this fall semester a successful one. A successful semester to us is not only measured through the professional development of our members, but through the smiles, laughs, and memories attained along the way. - Fall 2014 Officer Board
Format changeIn case you are wondering what happened to the usual PDF file, we have gone ahead and changed the delivery format of the newsletter. This was done because of the advent of the new website that could support a newsletter. There are many pros to this, but the one that trumps them all is that it is significantly easier for you, the reader, to access.
All past issues of the newsletter can be viewed on the Newsletter Landing Page. All future releases will now be done through our website, conveniently accessible through mobile devices. CommentsHave any comments about our website, our newsletter, or our organization?
